Katerina Adamopoulou

Katerina Adamopoulou started piano lessons at an early age in Corfu. She studied at the National Conservatory, where she received her piano degree with distinction and continued her piano studies alongside the soloist Christine Tokatlian, receiving in 2012, her piano diploma and harmony degree from Philippos Nakas Conservatory.

She has studied four years jazz piano with Spyros Manesis at the Athenaeum Conservatory and jazz singing with Sylvios Syrros gaining in 2023 her vocal diploma by JazzArt School of Music. She has attended vocal lessons with Myra Milolidaki and numerous workshops in jazz improvisation, body music and tap dance with Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton, Thanos Daskalopoulos, Keith Terry, Roxanne Butterfly, Max Pollak and Simone Mongelli. She has completed postgraduate studies in Orff-Schulwerk music education (Moraitis School) and has a a master's degree from Westminster University in London (MA in Music Business Management). In addition, she holds a PhD in Music Pedagogy from the European University of Cyprus.

She is a music teacher at primary school and a part time professor. She also teaches piano and organizes music improvisation workshops. She has collaborated with Afroditi Manou, Maria Kilaidoni, Giorgos Mikros, Dimitris Kalantzis, Stefanos Kozanis, Kostas Yaxoglou, Anastasis Gouliaris and others. In recent years she has participated in various jazz ensembles in Athens, while in 2022 she formed her own jazz quartet with which she performs original compositions and jazz standards.

Katerina maintains an active online presence, engaging with her audience through platforms like Instagram, where she shares insights into her artistic journey. She also connects with fans via her official Facebook page.
